Ibiza is known for its wild nightlife with amazing clubs that seem to never close, parties scattered with all of the who’s who, and music played by some of the best DJs in the world. But it has much more to offer like its exotic beaches, breathtaking sunsets, and charming villages.
In the most recent years the island has grown with its VIP status. Now you will see stars like Justin Bieber playing on the newest water toys.
And even some of the world’s billionaires like Roman Abramovich and his beloved Luna have been spotted in Ibiza. Luna has now been sold to Abramovich’s close friend Farkhad Akhmedov for $400 million U.S. dollars.
Because of this new VIP list that is flocking to Ibiza, the island has opened a few more places that satisfy the pallet of the rich and famous. One of the latest additions to the island (and one of my new favorite places) is Heart. This concept is the result of the collaboration between Ferran and Albert Adrià, better known as El Bulli Brothers and Cirque du Soleil.
With its colorful and wild combination of culture, music, art, and well-dressed crowd, it’s like an advanced amusement park for adults. The mysterious magic and artistic creativity of Cirque du Soleil provide visual entertainment; the gourmet flavor influences from around the world create a culinary orgasm; artists such as Takashi Murakami, Miguel Chevalier and Rafael Lozano provide a permanent exhibition that will open anyone’s imagination; and top DJs such as Sven Väth with performers like George Clinton and Chic complete the picture with fantastic music.
HEART Ibiza is divided into three zones: ‘Terrace’ ‘Supper’, and ‘Club’.
The “Terrace” is located on the first floor.
Upon arrival, guests can walk around all of the “food carts” for that street food experience and check out the live art scattered all around. When guests are ready for a few bites before the main dinner they can have a seat and snacks + mini-dishes will be brought to the table.
“Supper” is the more gourmet portion of HEART that includes some fantasy inspired shows throughout dinner and is located on the ground floor next to the club. Guests choose from very creative à la carte dishes to share. During dinner there are various performances and the music evolves from a quiet down-tempo to a faster beat later in the evening.
The ‘Club’ is located just next to “Supper” and already open as the last guests are seated at the table.
As their experience goes seamlessly from artistic performance to a more musically driven energy and finally an intimate and exclusive nightclub, it’s just what the VIP like.
HEART Ibiza is difficult to put into words with its unique atmosphere, wild visuals, delicious food, and great music. The Adrià brothers and Cirque du Soleil have managed to successfully combine all five senses into an experience that will touch everyone.
