Sushi Hon San Francisco

When eating sushi I do not normally look for “affordable sushi,” so when Sushi Hon opened a restaurant in San Francisco my husband and I wanted to see if we could add to our SF sushi list. We weren’t expecting “affordable sushi”, we were expecting quality sushi that normally comes with a large bill.

A few of our other favorites are quite small and hard to make last-minute reservations when friends come to town, and we heard Sushi Hon had a few more seats than our usual sushi spots. To our surprise the quality of fish was great yet the price was very affordable. And somehow every time we go back I swear the quality of fish just keeps getting better and better! I am still not sure how it’s half the price of our bill at other restaurants, but I won’t complain.

Always nice to start off with a cup of green tea

Just as we do at every sushi restaurant, we like to trust the chef so we ordered Omakase
