Medrano Vets makes house calls
Dr. Marcia and Megan are beyond amazing! Medrano Vets makes house calls. Not only do they come to my home (yes, they will come to your home too, if you live in SF), but they are always there for me when I fly in or fly out last minute and need something (such as shots or paper work when leaving the US). Not only are they professional, but they honestly care about their patients and their patients’ parents.
As a new Frenchie mom, in the beginning I was still learning the ropes and would send a million emails a day with questions, concerns, requests for recommendations, and last minute appointment requests when Priscilla would get sick or have an allergy. Dr. Marcia has always been so quick to respond and happy to schedule an appointment ASAP.
The in-home visit and wellness exam is $149, and they also trim nails, clean ears, and do an anal gland expression (if needed) as a courtesy during the exam, rather than charging individually for each of those treatments.
If you live in SF you know how convenient and how AMAZING a house call is. I get groceries delivered to my home, I have my hairstylist come to my home for blow outs, my doctor does house calls, so why not give the same treatment to your pup? They cost pretty much the same as a walk-in vet, but you don’t have to leave your home. Exams, check-ups, or shots at home are 20 times less stressful for Priscilla than going to the vet and getting on a cold metal table. Dr. Marcia and Megan come fully prepared with everything and will even hand-deliver medicine – which means I don’t have to drive in circles for 45 minutes trying to find a parking spot, I save money on parking, and I can stay in my pajamas!
Aside from having a house call be convent Dr. Marcia and Megan have become part of the family, I feel the warmth and concern every time they come over, or in every response to my crazy over panicked emails/ texts. I am so grateful to have found them.
